This is an older MG kit and it definitely shows its age. Lots and lots of ABS. Surprisingly light on the polycaps. There's some terrific laser-etched clear green parts. And if you can get your hands on an LED unit it'll look fantastic. You'll definitely need to put in a little extra work though... The ankles, specifically, are very weak.

This kit is a little rough... It's got some really neat features and it's visually stunning, but it feels less than the sum of its parts. The head and shoulders clash with each-other, limiting posing options. And the double-jointed knees are blocked by the thigh armor. The end result is some very limited articulation.

This kit is a little on the frustrating side... There's no white or black plastic anywhere in the box - so all of those markings are stickers. But, despite all the stickers, it's still not terribly color-accurate. There's no stickers for the trim on the shoulders, and there's a camera detail missing a sticker on the gun. There's no additional accessories included from any of the other Geara Zulu variations so you've just got the giant, iconic gun/backpack to work with... But that is so bulky it limits your posing options. It's not a bad build... And it looks striking up on the shelf... But there's definitely room for improvement.

This is a good, basic take on the Strike Rouge. It's a recolor of the old EG Strike kit - so if you've built that you know exactly what to expect from this one. And it'll be compatible with any of the add-ons out there. I'm always a little surprised at how decent these EG kits look once they're up on the shelf... But the build is just too simple to be satisfying. And the posability leaves a lot to be desired.

This is a very odd kit. There's incredible levels of surface detail and lots of part-separation. Subtle variations in grey/white color that make it feel almost like an RG kit. The engineering is unlike the HG kits I'm used to building. Lots of oddities and quirks. But the end result is undeniably cool-looking.

This is another great HGIBO kit. Yes, sure, they're definitely showing their age... There's plenty of polycaps... But the build is fantastic. Yet another terrific variation on the Graze frame. And this one, specifically, is nice for custom builds as it comes with a few extra/unused parts.

This is a really fantastic kit. It's a great take on the Wing Gundam Zero EW with all the RG-style gimmicks and details. Fantastic articulation. Looks terrific up on the shelf.

The HGWFM Gundam Aerial Rebuild dis a fantastic addition to the HGWFM line. Beautiful colors, great details, good articulation - what's not to love?

This is another nice kit from the HGIBO line. It's definitely showing a little age... It's not quite as nice as a modern HG... But it's still a fantastic build. Great color accuracy with minimal stickers. Good articulation. Nice accessories. Very striking colors.

This is yet another solid HGAC kit. It's maybe not as amazing a grunt kit as the Leo... And the build does feel a little dated... But it's still a very solid kit. Fun build. Good articulation. Looks great up on the shelf with the rest of my HGAC kits.

This base is clearly designed for 1/100 (MG) scale models. Smaller models (1/144, HG, RG, EG) look a little out of scale. But it's not terrible. I use it for my HG models all the time.
December 10, 2023Unlike some Gundam Markers, there are no warnings on the packaging specifying that they're not for use on ABS. Still, I'd test on a bit of runner just to make sure.
