The ChiMoWan Chibimarucar RX-78 combines the iconic design language of the RX-78 with the rounded styling of a Nissan 200SX-inspired "egg car" for a uniquely playful take on the classic mobile suit. The front end incorporates the recognizable RX-78 face, air intakes, Vulcan cannons, and V-fin, while the rear replaces conventional exhausts with thrusters for a distinct mobile suit-inspired appearance.
Shield-inspired scissor doors create a cohesive connection between the automotive and Gundam-inspired elements. The low-profile wheels rotate independently for push-and-drift play, while the doors can be swapped between shield-shaped and stock designs. The cockpit includes separate dashboard and steering wheel parts, and the body features a complete chassis frame with a removable body shell. Clear replacement headlight parts are also included for easier LED installation.
